Ransomware

AVG tells me that Ransomware has automatically been downloaded to my Laptop during automatic update execution.

Where do I find proof of this when I open AVG and how do I customise it?

Hello David,
Please be informed that Ransomware Protection secures your personal photos, documents, and files from being modified, deleted, or encrypted by ransomware attacks. This feature scans for and automatically secures folders which may contain personal data and allows you to specify which other folders you want to protect from untrusted applications.
Ransomware Protection is included in the latest version of AVG Internet Security-Unlimited by default. To access the feature, open your AVG management console ->click Internet Security->Menu->select Ransomware Protection.
