Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
That's okay! I would suggest you to select "Automatic update" and then repair AVG Antivirus/ AVG Protection http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG from the control panel and check the status.

Just see your reply, then this morning before I try to repair, I open AVG and see the alert in program has change. Before it was " AVG is out of date" but now it says "pc restart is needed". i will try to restart it. But I want to ask, why the pop up notification to ask for restart don't show up ? Is it normal ? Should I everytime check if the pc restart is needed ?
I really appreciate your efforts in resolving this issue. It might be because of corrupted AVG files (due to windows updates or any third party security program) which is why AVG not able to update their database automatically (shows out of date). When you repair AVG program, it restore/repair all the previous/corrupted files and it's update. After AVG updates, it's need a computer reboot to see the repaired files changes.

I was confused because I don't do repair yet, just this morning I start my PC and try to open AVG then it says "pc restart is needed". Without doing repair it's change by itself, is this normal ?
And as i know pop up notification to aks for restart need to show up but it didn't show up, I know the PC need to restart when I open AVG. In the future is it going like this that pop up notification for restart will not show up and I must check by myself by opening AVG to know if the program need restart or not ?
For some of the important update of AVG Antivirus, restart popup will appear for sure.
The restart prompt will not appear for every update of AVG.
Program interface will show you the reason for restart.
Please provide the screenshot of message that is displayed for restart, hence we can understand the situation better.
Your response is too slow, I already restart my PC so I can't screenshot the message. If I am not wrong the message are "PC restart is needed. Some componenent....................." I don't remember what it's said about some component, probably not active or needed restart because update ?
After restart I open the AVG interface and check that the version already the latest (17.5.3021). I only want to ask is it normal for AVG restart popup not appear ? And is it normal the update for AVG is late ? Because I see the update for last version release on 26 June but mine updated on 4 July
I have forwarded this to senior team for getting suggestion.

I appreciate your patience. Please be informed that popup requiring computer restart should be displayed for most program updates - however some updates don't require computer restart or restart is not critical. Program updates are distributed very soon (few hours) after their release however if computer was not restarted or not turned on/connected to the internet it can be delayed.
