How to install avg on a chrome book computer

Having difficulty downloading avg on my new chrome book laptop.

Please be informed that Chromebook runs on Chromium OS and by default it is not possible to run .exe files (typical windows applications format) on it. Kim, No antivirus software is needed. Chromebooks come with built-in malware and virus protection, with multiple layers of security: Automatic update system: Virus protection stays up-to-date automatically, so you are always running the latest and most secure version. Chrome manages your updates silently in the background. Chromebooks don't get "viruses" because you can't install an executable program on a Chromebook.

I use a number of features of the AVG Anti-Virus software (e.g. VPN, Wi-Fi Security, Wi-Fi Speed Test) in addition to the anti-virus capabilities on my Acer Chromebook and I also have additional AVG software (e.g. AVG Cleaner) installed. Some of these require additional permissions but I cannot seem to find how to enable these as I would in settings under Android.
