I recently had a scare with some malware on my computer. I managed to remove it with AVG, but I'm still having some issues with my webbrowsers, specially with Google Chrome. As soon as I click on a website it takes me to this http://adserver.metacafe.com/banner_13452A2_300x250_b.html?cb=1500565138871#_tbi2, or asks "are you sure you want to leave this site?"
AVG is saying everything is clear and I have no threats. I tried running Chrome Cleanup Tool but it won't install and I have no idea how else to remove it. I've cleaned my browser history, cache, cookies, everything... nothing works.

I would request you to remove unwanted/unknown browser extensions and search engines from your chrome. Also check for unwanted apps and uninstall them. Please right click on the desktop shortcuts of your web browsers, click on Properties, check the 'Target' field. It should be “C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” for Chrome. Please check and remove if any other text is added to this path.
