AVG Internet Secuity

I am so confused by the crap AVG site - I have 5 licences for AVG Internet Security and the software does not go to the next version automatically - when I go to the download site and search by licence number (as emailed through to me by that same site) it says "can't find it".....WTF.  Worst site EVER!

Is "Internet Security" the same as "Internet Security - Unlimited 2017" ??

Hoping someone can assist me get at the latest version for all my family PCs.

I have lodged a request in the site but that seems to have just just gone into the ether somewhere.

Thanks.

Hello Brian,
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. The websites you're trying to access, might has been changed/replaced with new one. Yes, AVG Internet Security and AVG Internet Security - Unlimited are the same protection program, the only different is AVG Internet Security - Unlimited can be installed on unlimited devices and AVG Internet Security have a license, you have purchased it for 5 computers so it can be installed in your 5 computers. However,  yes you can upgrade your AVG Internet Security to AVG Internet Security 2017. At this point, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG Internet Security - Unlimited. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. (1/2)

Please download AVG Remover tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe), run the downloaded file, select all AVG programs and click remove (or click run anyway), please ignore the restart (if AVG remover tool ask for a computer reboot), please download  AVG clear tool (https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe), click NO (if it's ask for safe reboot), select AVG Zen box, click on remove. Please reboot your computer once, when AVG Clear tool ask for a computer reboot. After reboot, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security) to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security 2017 (you have to use the renewal/new license number to activate it).
Best regards,
Alok. (2/2)
