Offline Installation

Is it possible to install any older AVG-Product (AVG Internet Security2016, PcTuneUp) offline? Activation can be made later online after the computer is protected.

I could find an older (2016) IS-installation-file on a friends computer and I could install it.
The new 2017 AVG is not like I want to use a program. Why using ZEN to start IS? Also the whole handling is to difficult for nonexperienced users. Many people don't like this like I could see. If AVG don't change it, I will ot spend more one cent  for their software!

Hello Horst,
Please be informed that we are performing a major migration from 2016 to 2017 version. We are performing this has mandatory update and planning to maintain the 2017 as a standard version. It is not possible for you to install the 2016 version of AVG Antivirus free again (your friend might have not yet upgraded to AVG 2917 version). We are receiving feedback from customer to add or remove some of the features, the changes will be at the earliest as possible. The updates and support for 2016 version will no longer be available. This is the reason we are performing this as mandatory update and recommend customers to install the latest 2017 version. If you have any feedback for 2017 version, do provide here. (1/2)

However, you can try this instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security) steps to install AVG Internet Security 2017 without AVG Zen and if you need any help for the AVG 2017 user interface then please click on the following link (https://help.avg.com/en/avg_free/17/) and also please know that AVG Zen is a network where you can add multi-devices and you can manage them at the same place.
