BSOD/BugCheck AVG/Avast & Windows 10 & WinDivert

I'm having an issue with AVG/AVAST causing a BSOD when detecting action from WinDivert - WinDivert is a WDK callout driver employed by applications such as Clumsy & Haste.  Clumsy is simple and easy to use and setup, so it's a way to recreate the crash quickly.   This seems to only occur on Windows 10, and I can't determine if it started occurring as a result of the Creator's update, or an AVG/AVAST update around mid-July.    Does anyone know a way for checking to see if AVG is looking into this issue?

Matt, AVG & Avast are different AV progs which shouldn't be installed on the same system. Do you have both installed or just AVG or Avast?.

Hello Matt,

I can understand your concern. Please disable AVG temporarily from your computer and check if you are able to use the other applications without any issue. To disable AVG, please right click on AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(system tray icon) and using the toggle switch diable the AVG Protection. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

@Alan,
Thanks for the feedback.  I've attempted with both (or each, I suppose is more accurate) the problem occurs on each of the products.
@Karthikeyan,
Thanks for the response.  Yes, the program works well if I disable AVG protection.  Whitelisting the files/driver/folder doesn't seem to help, the program must be disabled to avoid the BugCheck.

Hello Matt,

Thank you for the information. Please open AVG AntiVirus free and click on Menu->Settings->Components and disable components one at a time and check disabling which component this application works fine and let me know the status.

Thanks for the detailed response.  So, it looks like it happens with Online Shield component.  Do you know if this is a known issue and if there is a ticket already open on it?

You are most welcome.
I appreciate your efforts in this matter.
Are you using the latest 2017 version of AVG Antivirus free?
