Ron Johnson Email scan
I'm using the free version but it doesn't seem to be scanning my Email like it says it should...some Emails show the scan & tick at the bottom but others don't...I've been getting spam emails nearly every day but despite AVG Free telling me I'm protected, it seems I'm not..???
To protect against spam emails, it is necessary to install AVG Antispam component.
Please open AVG Antivirus free dashboard and click on "Menu-->Settings-->Components"
To the right, scroll down to "Antispam" and click on "Install component".
Once done with the installation, please check whether the issue persists.
I apologize for the steps provided before.
The Antispam feature is available only for paid version of AVG Antivirus.
Since you are using free version, please try to stop spam emails if you are using Outlook as the client to check emails.
You might be having the option to stop spam emails in the Outlook settings.
If you are getting spam emails from the same sender then you can check at the bottom of the email where you can find option as "Unsubscribe emails", please tick the check box and submit.
If there is any threat in the attachment of email then it will remove it.
Inorder to detect the spam emails, Antispam component should be installed and it is available only in paid version.
