Your Internet Security trail has expired

No matter what do I receive a screen that tells me "Your Internet Security trail has expired". I have uninstalled anything that says AVG and downloaded it again and continue to receive the same screen over and over again. What needs to be done so I can use the AVG Antivirus Free again?

Hello Marty,
I understand the inconvenience caused, let's work together to fix this issue. I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version.

Please download AVG Remover tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe), run the downloaded file, select all AVG programs and click remove (or click run anyway), please ignore the restart (if AVG remover tool ask for a computer reboot), please download  AVG clear tool (https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe), click NO (if it's asking for safe reboot), select AVG Zen box, click on remove. Once AVG Clear tool prompt for a reboot, please reboot your computer. After reboot, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free) to download/install AVG Free Antivirus 2017.
