New subscription of Internet Security, expiry date unchanged?

I had a1 year subscription/license of AVG Internet Security and it's about expire soon (3days as of this post). I bought and activated 1 year of AVG Internet Security unlimited yesterday. My account shows 1 years of Pro feature of internet security and counting. However my Internet security still states i'm going to expire in 3 days.

I am connected and logged in to my network in the program. however in the about/subscription tab still shows the expiry in the coming days.

I have left the network, and reconnected to the account, and still no change.

What's going on? Need help please :)

Thank you for the information, Joe.
Please click on "Log out" on AVG subscription tab and then you will be able to find "remove license" option.
Click on it and wait for the process to get finished.
Once it is completed please restart your PC and get into subscriptions tab to click on "Log into account"
Enter the AVG my account credentials and check whether it activates your recent subscription.
The expiry date should appear as 10th October 2018.

Hello Joe,

I understand that you are unable to activate AVG Internet Security Unlimited purchased. Please follow the below steps and activate AVG in your computer.

Open->AVG Internet Security->Menu->About->Subscription->Delete the license number from this location and login to your AVG MyAccount.

Once you login to your AVG MyAccount, the subscription will get extended to 10/10/2018.

If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

I'm looking at the Subscription tab however I cannot see how I delete the license.
I see two seperated highlighted sections, one says This PC is logged into the following AVG account: followed by my email and then Log out and Manage subscription links.

The second section simply says Expires: 10/14/2017 and a Renew subscription link.
