AVG Ultimate Activation Issue

I found a thread (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000DnunAAC) where someone had the same issue I'm having now... I followed the suggested steps in the post with the cleaner and removal tools, but have the same issue where it still didn't activate the AVG Ultimate product I paid for.

It appears you need to look at my account settings and change something to activate my account for AVG Ultimate (that I purchased months ago).  I am unhappy to find out I've paid for AVG Ultimate but have been running AVG Free, due to an issue on your end.

Please fix my issue as soon as possible.

I understand the inconvenience and I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue with the activation. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it with free of cost.
