I inserted a new sim card and the AVG anti-theft was activated and I unfortunately forgot my password. I have been watching clips on how to unlock it but they don't seem to help since the device doesn't give me the "I forgot password" option.

To unlock your device using Mobilation website, your device must be connected with active device data or Wi-Fi connection. In case you have disabled Wi-Fi or data connection on your phone. You can enable them by changing the SIM card again and swiping down from the top of the screen immediately after the device starts, but before the lock screen is shown. This will open the quick access menu on your phone where you can enable your connections.

1. Visit our AVG Mobilation website: http://www.avgmobilation.com/anti-theft. 2. Login with the AVG My account which you registered with the Anti-theft service. 3. Please select the proper device from the select device drop-down menu. You can see Security PIN, Unlock, Lock tabs. You can use any one of these to unlock your device.
Security PIN: Click on it and set a new four digit pin code and click next. Wait for few minutes and now enter the four-digit pin in your device. Now your device will be unlocked.
Unlock: Click Unlock to unlock the device. Wait for few minutes for the phone to synchronize the new settings. Your phone will be unlocked then.
Lock: Click on it and type your new lock password. You will get this prompt "Device lock command is successful", indicating that the lock command was successful and the phone is locked. Now you may try to unlock your phone with the updated password.
