My "Application rules" just magically disappeared but I didn't do anything on AVG. How I found out? Well, the internet went off so I was looking to identify what went wrong. Can someone tell me why is AVG acting up? I want my rules recovered.
This happens when I connect my computer to a new network. The rules just disappear. I have to redo them all over again. Now AVG is acting up on my other computers. If I disable AVG completely, it's a fake pretense, which interferes with troubleshooting. The only way to make sure if AVG is the cause of the problem is completely uninstall and troubleshoot. AVG now is becoming part of my problems rather than a solution.

Hi Akash, I appreciate your help but the problem isn't a configuration problem. It's a bug that the programmers need to fix. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. I've been satisfied with AVG in the beginning but the last few versions have been troublesome for me. This tells me your development team are throwing out lots of software with little time for testing. They are gathering info from us faithful customers to troubleshoot along the way what should have been done during the development process. I'm never a disgruntled customer. It only happens when things get very very bad and I think right now it's somewhere there. I'm an old MacAfee customer but one thing I was attracted to AVG is its speed. Right now I'm behind progress with almost everything because of the endless problems I have to deal with caused by AVG software bugs. I'm hoping AVG will fix these problems soon. I like AVG products and I hope it stays that way.
