"Computer protection is turned off"

I installed the AVG Internet Security 2018 on my PC.  I am getting the message "You are not protected. Computer protection is turned off."  The fix now button does nothing.  I have uninstalled and installed again with the same results.   How do I turn the Computer protection on?

Hello Robert,
I'm sorry to hear about this. I request you to open AVG Internet Security > menu > about > subscription, look for the expires date. if it's not 10/25/2019, then you have to reactivate your AVG Internet Security and also share a screenshot of the AVG Internet Security to assist you further. You can check the following link to see the instructions about taking the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot). You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.

My license expired on 4/24/17.  I did not get new license number with my purchase.

Thank you for providing screenshot Robert,
You have purchased AVG Internet Security - Unlimited. This product does not require a license number for activation, as it is activated using your AVG MyAccount that was created during your purchase. Please open AVG console/AVG Dashboard > click on connect button > select login to an existing network > enter your AVG MyAccount credential and your AVG Internet Security will get activated automatically.
Best regards,
Alok.
