Avg Update will not update the Avg Program

I have an issue.

On AVG and AVG zen ( Not protected )  it says avg program ( AVG Security ) is out of date Update Now button appears in red.
I click on the Update Now button it then goes to the update screen for the program and checks for an update.
It then says "Already up-to-date ( current version 17.7.3032 ) .
When going back to avg or avg zen it says it is still out of date or not protected.
Please help, this is urgent.

Hello Triacona,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with AVG Update. In this case, I request you to repair AVG Internet Security(http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG), update (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > update) it one more time and reboot your computer once. After reboot, please check if your AVG program is working fine.
Best regards,
Alok.

OK. I have now completed the repair and re-boot process three complete times. The update problem continues. Unless you have some other ideas, I think my next step will be a complete uninstall and re-install.AVG Ultimate Home Page

Dear Alok,

This does not work.

I have tried to click the update button several times and it does not update, it does on my other pc.

I have also tried Menu>Settings>Update and that does not work either.

It is not downloading the needed files, it just goes to avast server and then does not download anything.

I have also repaired the avg installation 4 times and this has not fixed the issue...

Would you recommend me  uninstalling avg, and then re-installing?

Thanks.

Hello Triacona,
I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing issues with AVG Update. I have done License feed for your AVG Internet Security from our end. Please open AVG console/AVG Zen > click on your email address > leave this network, wait for 2 minutes. Click on connect button > login to an existing network, wait for 2 minutes and reboot your computer. After that, please check if your AVG Internet Security is working.
Best regards,
Alok.
