AVG cannot permanently remove a detected virus

Each time i start up my desktop computer, AVG Free detects this Trojan "MalSign.Generic.FD6". It then removes it. However, the next time I turn on my computer AVG detects it again and removes it. How can I remove it permanently ?

Hello Geoff,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
May I know the name of AVG program installed on your PC, is it free, trial or paid version?
Also mention whether you have installed the latest 2016 version of it?

Hi Balasubramanian

I also have the same problems.  I am using the free AVG and the latest version of it.  Hoping there will be a solution in a future update.  Thanks - Kylie

Please have a look at this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=What-is-Potentially-Unwanted-Program-PUP to know more about the Potentially Unwanted Programs and steps on how to make AVG to detect them.
If AVG has been detected at any of the Malsign as suspicious will be removed from your system by  AVG program and you need not worry about it. Thank you.
