AVG Antivirus Free can't update, reset or uninstall

Hi everyone. I have a problem: my AVG Antivirus Free (in italian language) can't update (it gives me an error message), can't reset (error code: 0xE0010002 - Description: Event exec_finished) and i ca't uninstall it (error message and it doesn't uninstall anything). I put the images of these things at the bottom of this email.
I realized this thing today and i saw that "Windows Defender" is active (i'm not sure but i remember that before it was inactivable, maybe because i already use AVG Antivirus Free as antivirus for my PC), i don't know if this fact may be the problem, i don't know how to solve it.
Can you help me, please?

We request you to try using our AVG remover tool once and then install AVG free antivirus.
1) To download our AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://af-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE: Once the remover tool done with the progress please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG remover" folder.

Nicola, Which Windows OS are you actually using?. From Win 8 onwards Windows Defender is classified as AntiVirus prog which can conflict with AVG so it's actually disabled during the installation process.

Hi guys,
i just tried AVG Remover Tool and then i reinstalled AVG Antivirus Free. It worked perfectly and now the system is all ok. Thanks you Balasubramanian and Alan Binch for your help and your courtesy. My operative system is Windows 10, maybe Windows Defender was the cause of this, but i'm not sure.
