installation failed

I have tried soooo many times to install AVG free download, and just when it's about to install I receive a message saying sorry, installation has failed with an error code 0xC007064
I have tried everything but keep getting the same message.
What can I do?

We understand how something like this will try your patience.
Mostly this error is due to the previously installed AVG program or anyother Antivirus program installed on your system.
Is there any other Antivirus program or AVG program installed on your system? If so, please uninstall it and try to install AVG Program.

Consider yourself fortunate. See other threads on this board regarding constant AVG marketing popups. Go try the Avast free download. It is less bloated and their marketing department is less psychopathic.
