error avuirunnerx.exe system error MSVCR110.dll missing

I have tried to follow the instructions given to others dealing with this error however it does not work.  I am not very computer literate and would appreciate any help!

Hi Gulam,
Thanks for the reply.  I have downloaded this but could not find the 'run' button.  As stated before, I am not very computer literate!  This download offered a number of selections and I don't know if I selected the correct one.

Let me explain it in detail.
1. Please click on the link http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=30679  and in that page click on "Download".
2. In the next page please select the installation file according to your Operating system.
To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218
For 32 bit please check and download "VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe".
For 64 bit please check and download "VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe".
3. Please "Run" the downloaded file.

I am obviously an idiot, I have now downloaded this five times and still cannot run this. It asks me to repair or uninstall.  Help!

I have used 'repair' and it still will not run.  It returns me to 'repair' or 'uninstall'.  I am getting very frustrated as I cannot get beyond this point.  What else can I do?

I have the same issues, i followed your directions and nothing happent, cannot repair or uninstall.

Hi,  I contacted the online helpdesk and they were very helpful.  They accessed my computer with my permission and solved the poblem very quickly.  I was very impressed with how helpful and quickly they were able to solve it and I am now fully protected.  Good luck!

Since she stated very clearly that "I am not very computer literate!" you might have wanted to tell her how to access a downloaded file on a system that does not have the Run window open by defaut.

Yes you are right.
We tried to provide steps for running the downloaded file but Patricia was facing an issue with it and that is the reason we have sent her the email instructions to get connected to our remote support and the issue got resolved.
