Removing of threat has failed. Help needed

So, I found a very suspicius file and on my home media server NAS and AVG also warned me about it. I tried to get AVG to remove the threat but it just gives me the error on the image below. 
Threat: Could be a Trojan horse BitCoin
Object name: IMG001.exe
Removing of threat has failed.
Access is denied.

So I tried to delete it myself (the administrator on this machine) and it still said I couldn't do it. I then went into the properties-security options to move ownership over to me again but I don't have permission to do that either. I've tried some other tools but none seem to work. 
Usually my next steps would be restarting in safe mode and doing it from there but then I'll be blocked from my nas. I have no idea what I can do, and I don't like having a suspicious .exe on my NAS, I know I won't click it but I can't trust my mom not to, even if I tell her...

System information:
Toshiba laptop (if you need more just ask)
Running Windows 10 Pro
NAS- Lacie Cloudbox
