Trojan Horse keeps getting picked up by AVG

Hi, every time AVG runs, it picks up and removes a Trojan Horse. Is there a way I can get rid of it permanently? My computer is doing wonky and just want it removed. Thank you.

Sure. I am using the free AVG downloaded from Cnet.

Each time I run a scan that threat is found. AVG removes it. I run the scan again and threat if found again. It never goes away. Trojan Horse is always there to be found. Is there a way to get rid of it permanently?
