Uanable to bypass Firewall to play Music Library from PC to Bose Soundtouch

Hi. After uninstalling and reinstalling both the Bose Soundtouch App AND my Music Library (via iTunes) several times I find that I am unable to play my music UNLESS I switch off my Firewall - which is obviously NOT an option.. I have added my Soundtouch path to the 'Exceptions' file but this seems to make no difference at all. The only way I can play my music is by disabling my firewall seems ridiculous. It was working perfectly fine before I installed my new 2 year AVG renewal a couple of days ago. Thanks in advance.

Hi Steve,

We appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue.
From your description, it seems that few firewall settings needs to modified in order to allow the apps to communicate.
To do so : Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - Settings - Full protection - Enhanced firewall - System rules - Enable 'Allow windows file & printer sharing, remote desktop connections' (1st two options).
You can also enable 'Internet connection sharing mode' in the same firewall settings page to check if it helps.
