Problem with the Whitelisting Service (for developers) - ftp://whitelist.avg.com (69.94.64.46:21)!

Hi, AVG,

We're a medium sized consumer software publisher, and we've been using our AVG Whitelisting Service FTP credentials for batch-uploading our files (components and installers of the apps we develop, which are just too numerous to upload those one-by-one/manually) to your ftp://whitelist.avg.com:21 for years.

Unfortunately, since last year's November and up to now, whitelist.avg.com has started refusing any of our tries to connect, and ftp://whitelisting.avg.com:21 (mentioned  here: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-FTP-file-upload&supportType=home) is inaccessible by all means. For example, FileZilla reports back the following:

    Status:    Resolving address of whitelisting.avg.com
Status:    Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known"

    Status:    Resolving address of whitelist.avg.com
    Status:    Connecting to 69.94.64.46:21...
Status:    Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server"

Error:    Could not connect to server

WinSCP, upon connecting to whitelist.avg.com, reports that "Connection failed." as "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.".

In fact, we've tried a number of various FTP-clients, as well as from different geographical/physical locations (the US, Australia, Ukraine, etc.), with the same (negative ) result . No luck using Windows CMD (Command Prompt) either: screenshot - https://support.avg.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=9070N000000EvoG&feoid=Body&refid=0EM0N000002cvq4

Please finally address the issue  ASAP (this is far not the first time we're appealing to you with it via different official channels). If you're in the middle of some changes or there's any other reason(s) why such does happen, kindly inform us where else can we continue batch-uploading our files to and how, temporarily or permanently from now on. What we actually want is to keep participating in the Whitelisting Program of yours.

Greetings,

We're glad to check this with the concerned team & help you.
Before proceeding with that, please be informed that FTP address ftp://whitelist.avg.com has been replaced by ftp://whitelisting.avg.com and you have to create new registration.
Would you be so kind to clarify if you've re-registered or created a new registration to join our whitelisting program?

Hi, Dinesh,

Unfortunately, we've been hearing the same promises - to check this issue with your concerned/senior team - from different AVG representatives - for the last two months. Then none of the representatives have ever gotten back to us with any news. One of the examples: https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9060N000000EcfUQAS

You're now stating that whitelist.avg.com has been replaced by whitelisting.avg.com - then how can you explain the above and following screenshots?

Screenshot

https://www.avg.com/en-ww/whitelist-program-registration ‑ the given page doesn't provide any way to create a new Whitelisting Program registration, at least an obvious one. We're actually not the only ones who failed trying - proof: https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9060N000000LncCQAS

Please provide us with a step-by-step guide on how to create a new Whitelisting Program registration, as well as with the proper FTP-address, -port, and any other new information and details that are necessary.

This isn't the experience we want you to have, Serhii. We've checked the other threads regarding the same concern.
You can be rest assured that your concern will be forwarded to the concerned team & either we'll write back to you after receiving the info or themselves. We request you to allow some time. Thank you for your understanding in advance!
