HTML:RedirMe.inf V

Hello,

Last Tuesday someone named Michel removed my version of firefox and installed a new say this was thew reason I was having trouble with HTML:RedirMe-inf. Since Sunday I have had my web pages close with the same message. This is true in Firefox and Internet Explorer.

It is nice that AVG reports and error, but why cannot the malware/virus not be removed?

Peter,
Do you mean you are receiving same threat detection pop ups again after our technician resolved it remotely? Please provide us with a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the pop up to assist you further.
Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Peter, In future, to keep everything together, please try to keep the whole conversation in one question/thread to speed up any resolution.

In December, 2017 I went through this whole procedure. I sent a screenshot - it is the same one I am still getting, I did a system dump for you. Finally on Dec 21 I got this response:

Please accept our apologies for all the inconvenience caused. We understand that you are experiencing issues with the AVG detection pop ups in your computer.

We would like to inform you that we have forwarded this issue to our development team. They have analysed the issue and provided us with the additional troubleshoot. For trying those troubleshoot, we
would like to offer you a free remote session to contact us.

I contacted the site on Jan 2 and was connected to someone named Michel. He remotely removed firefox and all the mozilla settings and reinstalled firefox. I had no trouble for 2 days and got the same pop-up re HTML:redirMe.inf. I tried switching to explorer and got the same popup. I yse Yahoo.ca as my home page.
Can avg fix my problem?
