Mike McNamara AVG Driver updater

My subscription to AVGs driver updater has expired. I found that AVG was vey expensive when I could get the same AVG driver downloader from Ebay at A third of the cost. I ordered the download from an Ebay supplier but I am having trouble installing the Driver updater. I have contacted the supplier twice but the info he has given me doesnt seem to work -- Any suggestions
