How can I remove AVG's icarus.exe from my computer?

Apparently AVG, now Norton, has added an intrusive add-on that captures data from your searches and from your computer.  This file is called icarus.exe and I want to remove it properly.  Has anyone sucessfully removed icarus.exe from their Windows 11 operating system and not had issues with its removal?

Veeramani:

The icarus.exe file that resides on my Windows 11 PC from the installation of AVG Tuneup/AVG Internet Security/AVG VPN appears to be performing more than just obtaining updates to the AVG installation on my computer.  Can you detail why AVG made this change?  It appears that data is being captured from my computer and I assume is being sent back to a database at AVG or Norton.  I need to know what is being captured on my computer and why AVG/Norton does not give its customers the right to opt-out of capturing data from a customers computer.  I have been a customer of AVG for over 12 years and expect AVG/Norton to come clean on what exactly they are capturing on a customers computer and where it is sent and then whether AVG/Norton gives this data info to a 3rd party or sells it to a 3ed party.
