AVG Free Antivirus is the basic protection. Whereas, AVG Internet Security is the premium (paid) protection, which includes certain additional features compared to the free version.
You'll be able to activate the paid license through the free version. If the premium protection is activated on your computer, then the free version isn't required on the same computer. Thank you in advance!
