Hi everyone! I have installed the AVG Antivirus Free version. My workstation includes a fixed PC connected via ethernet to a Zyxel VMG8823-B50B modem to which a NAS WD My Cloud Ex2 Ultra is connected. I started the network scan and the message "Device accessible from the internet" ID: HNS-WAN-ACCESS appeared next to the router, indicating that one or more ports are open. Is this normal, having a NAS connected?

We'd like to clarify this to you.
Network Inspector scans your network for vulnerabilities and identifies potential security issues that may leave you vulnerable to threats. This feature checks the status of your network, devices connected to the network, and router settings. Network Inspector helps you secure your network to prevent attackers from accessing it and misusing your personal data
We are not certain if it is normal to have open ports in NAS.
Hence we request you to check this query with your device manufacturer to know if it is normal.
Thank you for understanding.

Thank you for your patience.
Please note that Avast detects your NAS device accessible from the internet as a vulnerability. We cannot say if this is normal or not, as it is information about an external device. You can select to solve this alert, or on the other hand, ignore it.
If you have any issues with accessing and using the device in question, due to AVG app, let us know and we'll further investigate.
I hope this clarifies your concern. Let us know if you have any further issues.
Thanks. Have a great day!
