How do I prevent AVG from removing My PC Backup software constantly

I have AVG 2014 installed (free version) on my PC.  I also have My PC Backup installed.  Lately, I have been having issues with AVG always removing the executable file for mypcbackup. This is a new thing since prior to this, I had no issues.  I try reinstalling the mypcbackup software, and allowing it to be logged in the exceptinos list, but for some reason, that doesn't work.  Any thoughts or suggestions?  I am paying for cloud storage that I am not able to access or use at this point.
