AVG Secure Search default search engine

How do I set the default search engine in AVG Secure Search?

Hello Larry,

Sorry, if you have AVG Secure Search engine installed then you couldn't change homepage.
The reason is of this is because it helps  you to browse securely on the internet so it is necessary to search for any links through AVG Secure Search engine.

I don't want to change the home page. I was able to change it to Google in Firefox.  AVG Secure Search defaults to Yahoo and I want to make it default to Google.  Google is just as secure as Yahoo.

What do you suggest?

Hello Larry,
We do understand your concern. However, please be informed that when you install the AVG Secure search the home page will get changed to AVG powered by Yahoo automatically. The home page can only be changed if you disable the AVG extension from your browser.
