AVG Won't Uninstall - Reinstall or Run!

Installed AVG, can't run it, uninstall it, or reinstall it.

OS X Sierra - fresh install

Same issues as this thread, poor guy given the run around!

This is clearly a bug in the Software installer for Mac OS X 10.12. I believe this can only be fixed by a Software Engineer. Although, I would hope the support team can provide a workaround for manually uninstalling so I can avoid formatting the drive.
