AVG issue with TCF Bank Portal

I am having the same issue as others with AVG Antivirus Free version and I tried to repair the program and that did not work either. The same issue is happening where the page will not load to enter security question answers & login info. But, now after I repaired the program and then turn AVG shield off, the page does load in all browsers but now says my account is locked and security questions have been exhausted. I noticed this in the first place and not sure if it is fraudulent or just TCF Bank's website interaction with AVG. I am worried somehow my account is being compromised and I haven't done anything different, but these issues only started when AVG was updated recently.
Is there another way to resolve this issue without having to shut off AVG?

Hello Akash & Alan,

Thank you for the support. I believe I already have the latest version of AVG Antivirus Free Version and that is not the issue. This version was updated automatically on my Windows 10 Acer computer. As soon as this version was updated, that is when the website problem of not being able to login to TCF Bank online banking started. So, I called TCF Bank and they have confirmed that AVG is blocking their website from being used and are recommending to turn off AVG and then I am able to login but this is not ideal for secure banking.
Under Antivirus Free:
The version: 17.2.3008
Virus definitions version: 170321-5
Under AVG ZEN:
Build number: 1.162.2.62416
AVG Network: Not connected
AVG Antivirus Free version: 17.2.3419.0
AVG Framework version: 1.172.2.61689
AVG Setup version: 1.172.2.61624
That's all the information I have, and this version seems to be the 2017 version.
There have been multiple customers calling TCF Bank, and from what they said it sounds like AVG needs to do an update or repair that fixes this bug. Is this the issue and is there an update/solution coming so this issue is fixed of blocking the TCF banking website?
Thank you.
