This popup will not go away and has been reproducing itself every few minutes. Is this a bug that can be fixed or shall I find another anti-virus program? have run the full scan and it still continues, my quarantine is empty. I would post a screen shot if I were not required to use a link so here is a detailed description.
We've safely locked this file in your quarantine. URL:Mal in http://hofucuqu.com/ ...\PROGRA~2\COMMON~1\Fadik\updtask.exe

I started having the same problem today. It happens when my email client Thunderbird is running. It pops up with a new file that is says is in quarantine every 5 seconds or so. See attached screenshot with two of the popups.
When I check quarantine, it is empty. When I close Thunderbird, the pop ups stop. They start up agin as soon as I restart Thunderbird.
The popups all have different file names that AVG is saying are a threat. I am suspicious this is a scam gone wrong by AVG in an attempt to justify its existence on customer's computers or to upsell them on paid packages. If I cannot find a solution to this asap I will be uninstalling AVG and switching to another virus scanner. There is no way my computer could be having that many viruses or infected emails coming in! I don't believe it!
