Kresna Sandi AVG Free Antivirus
Hello, I just made this account for this particular reason. I've been using AVG Free Antivirus since 2011 when my PC had an issue with a worm, 3 other Antivirus failed but not this one. So I hear about the Ransomware Wannacry that's been attacking PCs everywhere... so is the Free Antivirus enough to protect it ? I haven't got the money to buy the full protection and are very concerned with this Ransomware

The ransomware changes the affected file extension names to “.WNCRY”, so an infected file will look something like: original_name_of_file.jpg.WNCRY, for example. The encrypted files are also marked by the “WANACRY!” string at the beginning of the file. We are simultaneously updating with latest virus definitions to protect get protected, but we strongly recommend all Windows users fully update their system with the latest available patches.
