avguirna.exe - Bad Image

Okay here's my thing. I just reformatted my laptop yesterday and I've done installing all the necessary drivers and whatever. Now all that was left was AVG, so I went to their website, downloaded and installed AVG Free, everything was working fine until I restarted my pc. This ANNOYING error really pisses me off so much:
annoying error

I've tried everything:

Scenario one:
1. Uninstalled Skype
2. Reboot, error disappears

Scenario two:
1. Uninstalled AVG Free
2. Reboot, and of course error disappears.

Oh and I've googled this question and someone else was also having the SAME EXACT ERROR AS I WAS, here. Please help, I don't know what to do and it's driving me crazy.

Dear Mohammad,

Besides the very same error that you reported above, also Google Chrome crashes. I have noticed that the problem must be related with the component Online Shield. When I disable it, Chrome works well.
But what's the point of having an antivirus if you have to disable such an important component??

Please let me know if you experience the same issue?
Best regards, Carlos

Dear Carlos,

Hey man I was googling this annoying error and I saw yours yesterday. Did they fixed your error? I'm curious.
Mohammad ManarondongMohammad Manarondong
Dear Gunaseelan,

I have tried that already, did you not read my first post? I have followed that same exact details and still gives me that annoying error. If this can't be resolved then I'm uninstalling AVG.

Mohammad,
We understand this might be disappointing, we request you to download and run/ reapair this MSVCP file.
Refer this link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=30679 , click on "download", select both files, 32 bit:
VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe and 64 bit: VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe.

Run it and repair your AVG avgclick.me/RepairAVG to check with the results. Thank you!

I updated AVG and have the exact same problem. I uninstalled Skype the problem went away. Then it came back when I reinstalled Skype. I even tried adding the file to all of AVG's exceptions with no luck. Ugh!

Hi All,

I'd appreciate an honest answer here. Millions of people have the same error message, because they all use skye, avg on a windows 7 computer. What are you doing with your users? Taking us for a ride? It can not be that hard to get rid of this error message! You are updating our computers all the time! If this is not fixed sonn I have to change to AVAST.

Cheers

Walter

HAS this been resolved YET? I am getting this exact error message on W7/Sype/AVG platform. Plus, my Sype has lost its audio component.

I too have uninstalled and reinstalled software as others.

I would have expected an official answer to appear here by now. So is there a solution please.?

Hello Kevin,
I apologize for the delay in responding to you, the issue seems that the "C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015" are corrupted. In this case, we recommend you to repair the C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 installation from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 (please click on the link > click download > download first two .exe files and run that one by one). Please reboot your computer once and check if the issue still persist.
Best regards,
Alok.

For anyone wondering if this is fixed on my end, yes it IS fixed. But AVG has nothing to do with it. I don't know what the hell happened, my windows just installed a bunch of new updates and a couple restarts later the error is  gone. I installed an old version of windows on my laptop so a couple of updates are missing, hell it didn't even have a "service pack" or whatever. Then one time windows update said that it needs to retart to install like a HUNDRED updates, so I did and then the error is gone. My advice, turn on your windows update and install all that shit.

Struggling with non-AVG technology? We can fix that, too!
