Are you on an XP machine?  I'm getting the same message after updating the AVG Antivirus Free software.  Up to now, everything has worked fine.  Now I get this message and I'm not sure if I'll continue to get the updated signatures.  I can find a free scan online but I want to make sure the signature file is staying up to date.

I am using paid version avg antivirus and on Windows 10

Hey Alan,

These two things are totally separate. This one is during the update of AVG software to newest version and this screenshot shows during the installation.

The other one was a bunch of pop ups in a normal working avg software.

How abotu you need to focus on fixing your software rather than policing post like this? That's my 2 cents tip.
