AVGUIX.EXE System Error

AVG Free is not working for me.  I tried removing AVG Free using windows 7 control panel add/remove programs with no luck. Next, I tried removing the program with the AVG Remover tool.  After rebooting the computer I received the following 2 errors:
The exception breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached. (x/80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x6740ccd7, click on ok to terminate the program

And then
AVG diagnostics
Following AVG processes failed: - avguix.exe
Would you like to send a report to AVG for analysis.

Next I tried to run AVG Clear. AVG Clear will not install.  It sits on my screen with a bar moving back and forth, but it isn't doing anything.

When I reboot my computer the 2 popup errors still exist.

Please help.  I want to completely remove AVG from my computer.

Hello Mike,

I regret for the inconvenience caused. Please restart your computer in safe mode with networking (http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode) and run the AVG Clear tool https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe from safe mode and check if that removes all the traces of AVG from your computer. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

Thank you  for the quick response.  I rebooted in safe mode and ran AVG Clear.  The First error no longer appears, but the error that says:

AVG diagnostics
Following AVG processes failed: - avguix.exe
Would you like to send a report to AVG for analysis.

still pops up 5 seconds after the computer is booted up.  Do you have any suggestions for getting rid of this error?  FYI the program files still appear to be present in a directory C: Program Files (x86).

Mike, please delete AVG folders from the below mentioned location from safe mode.

C:\Program files (x86)\AVG
C:\Programdata\AVG
C:\Users\User name\Appdata\Local\AVG

Open Run window and type as "%temp%" and delete all the entries. Again open run window and type as "temp".

If you still get any error, feel free to contact us.
