Sitting waiting for it to load again, I don't have time for this, I have work to do!! I am not impressed with Zen it has been nothing but trouble, I never had problems with the old Internet Security which I have used for years!

My AVG Protection for the last two evenings has spent the whole evening saying it is updating virus definitions and never seems to complete it.
My husband's laptop which is in my AVG Zen network is saying that his protection was due to expire yesterday and on my zen control panel it is showing that it expires today.
I never had problems with the old AVG internet protection , since installing zen on my new laptop it has been nothing but trouble, I couldn't get it to install I had to get your tech people to connect to sort it for me. It seemed to install OK on my husbands new laptop but I don't know why it is not recognising my AVG protection multidevice licence that was purchased on 5/12/15 AVG Order reference number: 37-6195439

If it fails please click on the following link https://support.avg.com/support_contact_form?l=en_US&retUrl=support_Android_AVG_Antivirus&prod=AVG%20AntiVirus and fill out your details, select as Android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description explain about your issue completely and finally click on Email option. Our AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

My laptop logins in automatically and I tried logging in as admin on husbands laptop yesterday evening and the status did not change from expiring

Have you logged in "AVG Zen program" with our "AVG My account" user name and password?
Please be informed that AVG protection comes under AVG zen product, The license number for the AVG zen product is not physically visible for us. You have to use your My account username and password to logon in to your AVG protection.

Yes I did use the my account login details on my husbands laptop it shows this as being admin, and the status did not change.

I only have one email address and password that I am aware of and I checked I was using that when I tried to sort this out yesterday, technical support live chat is still not connecting :(

Have you tried adding devices to your Zen network by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1GY4vRT ?
Make sure you try these steps from the PC that has the Zen program logged in as a admin.

My husband's laptop was added to my Zen network as the instructions said, he was sent an email and followed the instructions to install, if you refer to the sceenshot above his laptop is the device to the left of the pending one and if I view his from my Zen program it shows the following:

Incidentaally, mine is still showing that it is uodating virus definitions as it has done all evening for at least 3 days that I am aware of.

Thank you for attaching the screenshot, Teresa.
Now I can understand your situation.
Your device is still updating and got hanged for the protection component.
We request you to log out as admin and then click on the same place where you had the email address and select "leave this Zen network". Again click on the same place and log into your Zen as admin.
Your device issue should get fixed.
On your husband device the protection component shows that it is going to expire today.
So please try following the same procedure on this PC and check whether the PRO version gets installed.
If not please completely reinstall all the AVG program from his PC and install the AVG protection again.
Do let us know the status of this.

Thanks for your help, worked eventually via major panic when it installed AVG Zen and then failed, but did a restore and it worked without having to do anything else, started up husband's laptop today it installed AVG Zen automatically and is now working OK.

Have you purchased AVG license or AVG for Unlimited devices? Can you please let me know what AVG program you have bought to assist further with the installation.

In case, you have bought AVG for unlimited devices, you no need to pay any extra. You can just install AVG directly on your other device using your AVG Myaccount credentials.
