avg2015 will not allow steam games

since upgrading to windows 10,my avg will not allow me to launch steam.it tell me that steam has viruses,and threats.i had no such trouble with windows 8,1.i have tried uninstalling,and re-installing,but the same problem occurs,any advice would be appreciated,

Hi Philip, sorry for the inconvenience, please disable AVG and add the steam to AVG Exception list. Please use the below link to know how to do it.

thanks for that.after following the above proceedure ,steam is now playing.the only thing is avg tells me my web browser is now only partially protected,and is prompting me to press fix now.is this because i have asked for steam to be allowed.is my system safe now.cheers.

Hi Philip, thanks for the information.   You can fix the web component by installing the latest Firefox or internet explorer with AVG web-protection. Open web component and then try to Fix it. You cannot install it if you are using google Chrome. You can also directly install the AVG web tune Up in Firefox or Internet Explorer by downloading it from http://www.avg.com/us-en/web-tuneup .
