AVG free 2015 installation and start up error.

I have just upgraded from AVG free 2014 to AVG free 2015, but no matter how many times I install it and uninstall it I get the following error at startup

"Server initialization failed with an error 0xe001003e"

Then when windows does start up the active shield and identity protection say they are disabled even though they are turned on in the settings and I cannot update AVG.

 I have Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

It is ok, I used the AVG uninstall tool to wipe AVG compleatly from my system, then reinstalled it and it is working fine now.

Mark, are your User folders on a drive other than C? Are you certain that the error ends with "e" and not "d"?

My user files are all on C:, I have a D: drive but I installed everything to my C: drive, I am certain the error ends in an E and not a D.

The error comes up before windows boots in properly and I keep getting a "General Error" promt pop up every so often.

Mark, In order to analyze it please provide AVG with diagnostic output using this tool (http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe).
