Hi. since two days AVG installed on our server block file access of two of the PC in our network. reported SMB brute force attack. We tried to set Allow for these specific address in general settings, but with no effect. removing samba protection is effective, but maybe dangerous.... thnk you in advance Domenico

Hello Delli Yes, PC address correspond to one of ours...... but blocking again SAMBA seems not to give us a pop up... here you have a screenshot of connectionsy...
Please add the detected IP address to the "Trusted connections" list of AVG Remote Access Shield and check if the issue persists. Refer to this article for detailed instructions. Keep us updated.
