Error code 0xe001f94e trying to install retail PC tuneup on Win 7
Used removal tool, checked memory, PC cleanup, clean boot ... tried to reinstall trial, same thing. Error code 0xe001f94e ... I have AVG protection and web tuneup installed and working ... what next.
Next, enter the Windows Registry. Open RegEdit by typing RegEdit in the Run command line. Then find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/AVG Delete the AVG folder. (Please make sure you only delete the AVG folder)
Reboot again and try installing your AVG software again, the latest install files are available here: http://www.avg.com/download
Please make sure you have your licence keys before reinstalling.

Next, if you are confident to venture into the Windows registry, try the following.
With AVG software completely uninstalled. Run the removal tool again:

Next, enter the Windows Registry.

Delete the AVG folder. (Please make sure you only delete the AVG folder)
