Hi Aravind,
Thanks for your reply. I've tried what you say. I've then restarted and closed/rebooted  computer but this AVG Zen box comes back (after a minute). Could it be that AVG Zen is not  part of AVG2015. But if so AVG does not  how up as an option on the Customize list. It is very frustrating to be missing a quarter of the screen! Any other ideas  please. I am running Windows 7.

As you can see the AVG Zen notice occupies a large amount of the screen. I can't see anyway to make it disappear.

Hello.
Few days ago the same problem occured on my PC. I did use AVG remover as you said, and it was solved... for 2 days. Now a diffrient window pops out in the bottom right corner of my screen everytime i turn on the system and theres no way to get rid of it. Using the remover does nothing, it just doesnt work anymore, and i cant uninstall AVG using the control panel because theres no "uninstal" button on the AVG uninstaling window (?!). Please, tell me how to delete your software...

Hi Janusz,

This is really strange. I'd like to ask you for the AVG log files before we continue with the unistallation. Please download and run this http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe tool and follow displayed instructions. Once data are sent then use the AVG Remover tool http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe and let me know the unistall was successful.

Thanks

Hi,
Same thing here. The stupid (x) button on the zen/2016/AVG window (who knows what exactly, can't detect or terminate it via task manager) doesn't work and it stays on forever. It pops up after every restart, reintall, repair or whatever (except uninstall :))). And it asks for a nonexistent license key (for a free version) each first run (after updating to the new version, or reinstalling the whole thing), but clicking OK button without typing in anything makes it go away and forget about that.
I'm very disappointed :(
just like that
JanJan (Avast)
Hi Green Snow,

Could you please screenshot the message when it pop-ups again and send it alongside with AVG logs via this http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe tool?

Thanks
Green SnowGreen Snow
The message only popped-up up once, after I updated to AVG2016 and once I re-installed it. It said that I need to re-enter my license key because there was some kind of problem. Unfortunately, having 1/6th of my screen occupied by this window (which was on top of everything) for two days or more, would have been too painful, so I removed the AVG2016 along with ZEN and got a different a-v software. Please don't hate me for that, I'll get back to AVG as soon as a more reliable version will be available. Thanks.
JanJan (Avast)
Hi Green Snow,

No worries, I'm definitely not hating you for that because I totally understand the pain. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Have a great day

I have the same problem as the previous users. The exact same window as the one that can be seen on the two screenshots posted in this thread is blocking a big part of my sceen which is really annoying to say the least. Actually this started about three weeks ago, but then I didn't use this computer for a couple of days since I was away on a trip. When I came home some days later the problem was gone and it stayed like that until today.

I've tried removing AVG and then reinstalling but as soon as I updated the protection this famous pop up reappered. Any new ideas of what to do?

Mine won't go away either and it takes up almost half the screen. I can't even see the rest of this message because I'm typing behind it. I can't write any papers for school or anything because this is in the way.
I really need this to be fixed.

The popup has nothing to do with AVG.  It is cleverly designed to appear as an AVG.Zen popup.  It is malware,(backdoor).  I got rid of it by using Malwarebytes Anti-malware program. Use it to scan your computer. It seems to be a safe program to use.  Good Luck

Hello Richard,
We appreciate your effort in fixing this issue.
You can also send us your valuable feedback via the following link http://www.avg.com/us-en/product-feedback, so that our developers will work on it and fix it in the upcoming update.
richard hoodrichard hood
You don't seem to understand what I wrote.  You cannot fix this, because it was not originated by AVG, the malware source has designed it's popup to look exactly like the       one that appears when you open AVG.  This was very clever of the designer, as this causes it's victims to try to get AVG to correct the problem, which of course you can't.
It can only be corrected by knowing that it is malware and addressing the problem as such. Please try to understand what I an telling you, and don't tell me that your developers are going to work on it.
