Hello Klen, I understand the inconvenience caused. I am sure we will be able to fix this together. Please share a screenshot of the AVG detection to assist you further. I'm wondering why this problem is still manifesting in current versions of AVG in June 2021? If it is a false positive, why is AVG still quarantining the Powershell.exe file when Visual Studio is installed?

Thank you for providing screenshot. This seems to be a false detection by AVG Free Antivirus. Hence please add that file to AVG exception list as per the steps mentioned in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields ) and this will be a temporary fix. For the permanent fix, please report the false detection by AVG at https://www.avg.com/submit-sample . Our developers will check that and whitelist that file from AVG virus definitions.
