For some reason on booting my various computers with Windows 7, the AVG Internet Security icon is no longer in the task bar (bottom right of desktop). It worked fine until a few days ago. The AVG tuneup icon is still there. So I checked the task manager "services" tab and see this:

The startup manager is related to Windows and you can setup which process should run on the Windows startup. May I know whether you have installed our latest 2016 version of AVG Internet security program? In your case some files of it would have got corrupted that is the reason it is not listed in the process. We request you to try repair installation of AVG program once by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY and check whether is running in the processes tab of task manager.

The AVG UI shown on the list is the AVG internet security program and on PC tuneup startup program list it will be shown only as AVG UI and not separately as AVG Internet security. To know about "NONE" program please right click on it and select "Properties" and on the Target please find the path where it is installed. It will have the program name so by seeing it we can confirm which program it is.

For removal of AVG programs please use our AVG remover tool. 1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe 2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions. 3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen. NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
