AVG VPN & Outlok 2010

I was enticed to install AVG Ultimate with VPN.
However when activating VPN I can no longer send emails from my Outlook 2010 or access my WIFI Printer
I have tried the suggested remedies of changing SMTP port and and encryption (SSL/TLS) to no avail.
any help would be most appreciated
Cheers
Erik

My encryption and SMTP port was already set your recommended setting, I did also try the alternative SMTP Port but to no avail..

THank you for the speedy reply, the wireless printing works.
Alas, No changing location from Melbourne to Perth  or to Vienna did not allow me to send emails

Thank you for the email inviting me to give you remote access to my PC, However, as I am treasurer for a number of  not for profit community organisations I am reluctant to give anyone that acces,
It appears that the issue is between my Email  service provider (iprimus) and Outlook2010   as webmail for the same account works ok.
I will happily co-operate with any remedial sugestions  from you that I can impliment on my PC, else I will just have to disengage VPN when sending emails
  1. Visit the AVG Remote Support website (https://support.avg.com/service_redemption?EntryId=1406366083" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline).
  2. Fill in the short form. Your Case number is xxxxxxxx
  3. Click Connect to an expert. A remote support file will be downloaded.
  4. Run the downloaded file.
  5. Use the opened window to chat with the AVG technician.

We understand your concern, Erik.

Could you let us know if you followed the instructions provided in our previous post & configured the SMTP settings on your Outlook program?
If you haven't, please refer to this article to configure them. Once you've made the necessary SMTP changes, restart your computer & check if the issue persists.
Keep us updated.
