Touchpad won't scroll

Hi,
After running AVG TuneUp, the touchpad on my HP Pavilion dv5 Windows 7 laptop won't scroll.  Any ideas how to fix this?
TIA

Hello Jay,

This isn't the expected behavior.
We request you to refer this article and follow the steps as mentioned under 'Undo actions performed by AVG TuneUp' topic.
If that doesn't help, open AVG TuneUp program window and click on "Speed Up" component.
Click Show below Background & startup programs.
Click on 'sleeping programs' and wake up all the programs that you put to sleep.
Check the status with touchpad and let us know whether it works.
Thank you.

Thank you for the information!  I was able to wake up the Synaptics Pointing Device Driver and that has seemed to fix the problem.  Thank you for the information!
