Another Installation is already in progress
Hello,
Recently I have been getting this failure to install message and updates can't proceed.
"Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceedng with this install.
Error code: OxC0070652
Additional message: MSI Engine: Failed to initialize the package"
I have uninstall AVG 2015 for a start and tried reinstallation but same message persists.
I checked through the system and found AVG folder sitting in Program Files (x86) and it requires permission from system to delete this folder which I'm not sure how to do it.
I'm using Windows 10 at the moment.
Same problem here. Removing or re-installing produces the same error.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Have you tried uninstalling AVG using AVG Removal tool? If not, then we would request you to uninstall AVG using AVG Removal tool by clicking on the following link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe
Once after uninstalling AVG on your computer completely please have a look at this article http://avgread.me/1bsCjtC to reinstall AVG.
