Driver Update

Driver updater says there is a new version of "Intel(R) ICH9 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2937". But when I install it is says there is a newer version installed (9.4.4.1006) than the one Driver Updater wants to install (9.4.0.1026). How is this possible? I didn't install that 'new' driver ofcourse.

Hi Arnold ,
Sorry for the delay in responding you , I appreciate your patience .
This issue is caused by fact that it is component which is part of driver pack and
even individual driver is up to date there is available newer version of driver pack
and that is why Driver update is suggesting update.

Please let us know if have any issue
Thank you

Hello Arnold,

Please follow these steps to send us diagnostic information from your computer. This information will allow us to analyze the situation and provide you with a solution:

1.Click here http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe to download the AVG SysInfo tool.
2.Run the downloaded tool.
3.Click Continue to agree with AVG’s license agreement and privacy policy. AVG SysInfo will now gather the data.
4.Once the diagnostic output is ready, you may add comments, or click Attach file or Screenshot to provide us with extra information.
5.Fill in your email address, and then click Send output.
Let us know that the data has been successfully sent. We will analyze the received files and provide you with further information.

Hello Arnold,

Sorry for the delay in response and inconvenience caused. I would request you to run the Sysinfo tool again and when there is that error (without confirming it) please collect the files from %systemdrive%\AVG_SysInfo\diag\avgdiag2\out  and %systemdrive%\AVG_SysInfo\bin\diag.xml and upload the collected files to our FTP server. To upload a file to our FTP server please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1TtFFOv .

Please feel free to contact us should you need any assistance. Thank you.
