We request you to completely uninstall the AVG program using the AVG remover tool and install the program again.
To download the AVG remover tool please use this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

I have followed your instructions exactly. When (re)installing the AVG Utimate program I got the same message " avguix.exe - System Error. The program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem" The Eror code is 0xC0070643.
On my computer I have looked in the folder Program Files / Microsoft Office 15 / root /Office 15 and it looks like there are several files MSVCR110.dll....!!! Unless I can resolve this one soon, I will need to ask for a refund and look for a different antivirus software padkage...

I see that I am not the only person with this problem ... for example I see on the the Windows help site that we have a computer savvuy person saying that...
"I noticed other people have had this problem, but so far nothing has helped. I'm trying to download AVG on a friend's computer.
Exact error message: There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

I tried:
msiexec /unregister then msiexec /regserver
sfc /scannow
services.msc and installer was manual, and the Start button was greyed out.
Microsoft Fix It - could not find any errors. Also, AVG was not listed so I chose Not Listed
I tried merging a new Registry key (msiserver.reg), nope
Looking in its folder in Registry Editor, it has two instances of msiexec.exe: one in syswow64\msiexec.exe and system32\msiexec.exe. SYSTEM does have full control.
Nothing is working. Someone please help."
And it looks like no-one has helped this lady...!
